Surfer Dudes

On July 4th Kai was signed up for a surfing lesson with Eric from our favorite surf shop, A-Frame in Carpinteria. He did great, standing up and paddling in by himself. When the lesson was over, Eric took Makena in for a little lesson, too. She loved it. One time she went airborne going over the white water, Eric held on and made her feel very safe. She looks so little on that 8' board. Oh, Kyle took some shots of me boogie boarding. Stay posted for surfing pictures of me in the future (I decided until Kyle's broken leg/ankle is fully healed I have to play it safe, especially since I already broke a finger when I went over the handle bars of my bike 2 weeks ago).
