Beautiful Family

This mom asked her family for a family portrait for Mother's Day. We had such a fun shoot. Everyone was excited and willing to try just about anything- I couldn't have asked for more!
We kept going, until it finally got too dark. I truly enjoyed being with this family, you could just "feel the love". Click on the title (Beautiful Family) to see the whole slide show.

Welcome Home, Isabella!

Little Isabella was adopted by a wonderful family and after many prayers recently came home to stay! She is a little doll, sweet and alert, and waving at everyone. Her parents and two big brothers adore her and I was blessed to be able to take her first official pictures.

Baby Ruth

Well, right before Makena got strep and Kyle broke his leg doing wheelies on his bike I did this shoot of baby Ruth and her two sweet sisters. Ruth lit up every time her sisters were around (or her mommy or daddy or auntie) and was a doll the whole time. She also seems to love Justin Timberlake, she started dancing every time his song came on. Too cute!

Custom Birthday Invitation

Makena is turning 9 next week and wanted to have a party at home. I've been playing with digital design and decided to make her invitations. She is very happy with how they turned out! I am, too!

Cameron

This cool dude is 16 and an accomplished swimmer (in case you haven't noticed the broad shoulders). He was a good sport and let me keep shooting. And his mom risked life and limb to help me get a great shot! Here are some favorites of the many I took, I really like the texture shots (look kind of fuzzy and dreamy).

Sunshine on the Beach

My little girl always picks flowers for me, both of us have a preference for natural flowers like daisies and lavender. This time, she found these beautiful yellow daisies at the beach, right as the sun was going down.
