Baby Cannon Sneak Peek

This precious little guy slept like a bear throughout the whole session, we had such fun changing his outfits and props. His mom and dad are the nicest people and he has an adorable 2 year old brother who is just a firecracker (a sweet one). Lots of love in this family. Quick shot for mom, many more to come soon.

Sweet 16 Party

I've always loved Valentine's Day. And 24 years ago we got engaged on Valentine's Day. At 19.
I feel blessed that I found the love of my life so early on. Here is a photo of our kids who are best friends (and worst enemies, sometimes)!

Sweet Little Girl

Here is a sneak peek for the mom and dad of beautiful little Veneta. What a sweetie, and I couldn't get over how alert and "grown-up" she seemed at only 2 weeks. She was interested in EVERYTING around her, and seemed to just absorb as much as she could. I'm glad her parents got my baby plan, so I'll get to see and photograph her again at 6 months and 1 year. Can't wait to see her personality develop.

Sweet 16 at the Beach

Here are some gorgeous beach pictures of Stephanie. I loved her all dressed up, but I think I love these even better (as you all know, I'm prejudiced and love anything beach :) ). Something about the wind blowing in her hair, the soft sunset lighting, and the overall feeling of beauty and peace. Well, that's Laguna for yah. And lastly, no photo shoot of a 16 year old is complete without a shot of the BFF.

Sweet 16

Here is a sneak peek for this lovely 16 year old. We did some pre-party pictures at the St. Regis, and the big party is on Saturday. It's a masked ball, I can't wait to take pictures of the event! I guess my mask will be my camera :)
By the way, this young lady was a pleasure to work with, so sweet and game for anything. She pulled herself up on a concrete wall at the beach, impressive.

Pretty Girl

During Kai's flag football practice we sneaked off to a nearby train depot for a quick session. Here is shot of my baby who is getting bigger by the day! More amazing shots to come really soon.

Serendipidy at Sunset

Okay, there is a funny story behind this picture. We were done with our shoot at the train station, driving on the freeway on our way to our favorite pizza place, when I spotted a glimpse of the sunset by the beach. Once I was off the freeway. stopped at a red light, I jumped out of my car, ran to my client's car behind me, asked "Are you up for a quick 5 minute detour to the beach?", they agreed, off we went. Got there just in time for this shot. So glad we got this.

First Shoot of 2010

Sorry I've been behind on blogging lately. Between the holidays, being sick and focusing on my new blog I just didn't get to it. My first shoot of this new year was on New Year's Day. This is Kyle's cousin's family, they couldn't be any better looking or nicer, and on top of that they were game for everything during the shoot. Here are some of my favorites so far.
